What colours go with lavender

Lavender is a light, powdery purple softened with grey and white, which makes it a delicate, soothing pastel. Born from mixing blue and red, purple is an ambivalent secondary colour: lavender, though, leans clearly cool because of its strong blue component and its desaturation.
